The run numbers are highlighted in green if photos are available, and yellow if only a write-up exists.
|633||December 20||Whoremoan||1734 Tiffin Place (Gordon Head)||
Annual 12 Stops of Christmas Run
It was wet and cold, but we were warmed by lots of alcohol and good cheer ... as long as we kept moving.
|632||December 6||Sir My Cocks A' Fallen and Cock-a-Leeky||Cloverdale Traditional School, off of Linwood Avenue||
It was a perfect day for a run, a goldilocks day - not to cold, not to hot, no rain -, and it was perfectly predicable. Some might say the trail was almost all arrows, and the BC was what Sir My Cocks A'Fallen has used twice in the past. The start has also been used once before, but this time the trail was more devious, if not led by the arrow. None-the-less the effort was well appreciated as there was ample beer at the end, and all enjoyed the run, and comradery .
|631||November 22||Lakey and Jonners||Arbutus Middle School, Edgelow Road|
|630||November 8||Deep Shit||Parking area across from Ma Miller’s Pub at 2903 Sooke Lake Road.||
The 19th Annual Goldstream Hash. It was a perfect day for hashing in the woods around Goldstream Campground and Park. We had Edmonton hashers visiting us, and with the exception of Jack Off getting lost, and turning up eventually at the BC during the circle, we had no great miss-haps, and all the Albertans seemed to have survived. Blow Hole did get rename "Happyhole/Blowhole" , after first introducing herself as Happyhole during introduction - probably as a result of having just been talking to Happy Sperm. The naming came with the proviso that she can chose to call herself either Happyhole or Blowhole at any time.

|628||October 11||Premature Evacuation||Horner Park Parking Lot on Palo Alto Road off Cedar Hill Cross Roads east a couple of blocks from Shelbourne Street||
A Thanks Giving's "Turkey Trot" Run in and around UVic and Mystic Vale. It rained in the morning, but was sunny and mild in the afternoon. Just Jerry from UVic's joined us to immerse himself in hashing, and we hope we didn't drown him. We hope we inspired him to write a great piece on the joy of hashing..

The Annual Red Dress Run
An excellent warm day with a great trail - no shiggy though -, lots of stops, and no one got lost, because everyone knew we were eventually going to end-up atPhillip's Brewery. Lots of red dresses, and Just Andy (number 2) was named "Toolbox". On afters was at the Bard & Banker Public House.
|625||August 30||Boomerang & Cock-a-Leeky||Gyro Park Parking Lot, Cadboro Bay||
This was Boomerang's 74th Birthday Run
All Hare Raiser should use each hashers desire to celebrate their births, by promoting the idea that they set a trail in the month of that momentous occasion. That might greatly reduce the difficulty of convincing hashers to set trails. It was a wonderfully sunny day, starting at the Cadboro Bay Festival's sand sculptor (click her for a Saanich News artical about it), and later on there was a whiskey stop! Its was the first run in the VH3 where most of the pack discovered its one YBF only because they were following one of the hares (Cock-a-Leaky) onto it. This was amusingly after she blew past Boomerang who had just placed an arrow pointing in the direction of the true trail after two FRB had already found the YBF! Boomerang's co-hare must have thought, 'That wily hare is placing an arrow there to mislead the hounds, but the pack is slow enough as is, so I will just lead them the right way.' The pack must have thought, 'We should follow Cock-a-Leeky regardless of the arrow, because she's so nice, and a Hare, so she must know where to go.' Oh so wrong!
|624||August 16||Muck Sucker, Cardinal Sin, and Bad to the Bone||Taylor Arm Provincincial Park, Group Campground #3, just west of Port Alberni, BC||
The Annual Blueberry Hash. Just like last year, it rained Friday, but Saturday and Sunday were warm, sunny, and dry. The run was a suitably length, and included a swim in the lake. The campsite had no water, ... but we had beer! Boomerang was made the Wanker of the Week and successfully consumed his down-down with the VH3 Sleeve on his arm. Both "Nut Job" and "Rim Job" were named.
|623||August 2||Jack the Tripper & SBC||Hollywood Park (~1600 Earle St, in Fairfield), somewhere near the Earle St entrance.||
A sunny and warm day for a delightful urban if devious trail with flour hidden and disappearing into brown grass, and a sweet medicinal treat on the windswept military outlook in Walbran Park. No one remained lost for long. Just Andy is named "Hymen Manuever" for his attempts to bring order to our hash song singing.
|622||July 19||Stroke Alone||Rocky Point Road crossing of the Galloping Goose Regional Trail, Metchosin||
The Return to The Deepest Darkest Metchosin Hash (DDMH)was a very flat, short run, and both sunny and wet - and if you can believe that I have swamp land to sell you. The original DDHH was run 448, July 11, 2009. After the first hill Just Susan, friend of Boomerang, and who knew the area well, escorted the mothers with small children (already tuckered) on a short-cut to the BC. Boomerang, taking the turkey trail (the sole turkey), mistook an outbound walking trail as running trail inbound to the BC, and ended up lost back at the start. Search parties went out, but could not find him. He caught up as we returned from the BC, and happily received the last of 20 cans, that had been stashed in a bag of ice.
|621||July 5||Ice Breaker||Ross Bay, corner of Memorial and Dallas at the curved cement bench.||
A sunny long portage through the history of Victoria ... and beyond ... Short-cutting in favour of beer. All of which were highly enjoyable ... especially the beer. Ice Breaker talked about how the voyageurs would leave Hudson’s Bay cross the Prairies, go over the Rockies and head down the Columbia to the HBC HQ at Fort Vancouver, which why we are called British Columbia. The trail tried to recreate the portage that used the old streams from Ross Bay to the Fairfield swamp, and then the stream down to St Annes and the Inner Harbour thereby avoiding having to paddle around James Bay. This was usually done to avoid winter storms around the James Bay peninsula.

|Fine sunny day to go running through the woods, and discover that G&Ts go down well on trail. Blue Balls and Hoopalong Chastity were welcomed back from thier honeymoon as newly hitched. Whether they are for now collectively names Mr. & Mrs. Blue Hoopalong Chastity Balls is atogether another question.|

|615||April 12||Muck Sucker and Cardinal Sin||Springboard Road near Florence Lake. See photo. Parking is limited so team up where you can.||
The Return to Skirt Mountain run, though we are not sure when the VH3 had had a run up Skirt Mountain for it to be a return to it. Still is was a beautiful summer like day, with fantastic views from top of the mountain. It was a short, mainly headed up hill. The BC was 'virtual' as it was on the trail from the bottom to the top, but only revealed by the live hare on the way back down the same trail. Root Beer Schnapps shooters were provided at the top of the mountain.
|614||March 29||Cock-a-Leekie and Stoolie Andrews||End of Stewart Mountain Road||It was a perfect Highland spring run with little 3 little fairies being found at strategic points on the trail. There were also a number of other non-fairy toys found on-trail. A flying pig, a flashing pink love bear, a slimy water nymph, a white stuffy polar bear soon to be torn to shreds by Hoopalong's cat, and other strange beasties - batteries 'embedded' -, were all found and played with. Just Tracy is named "Faerie Fanny".|
