It is just after 1PM and Ice Breaker has just set an unusual 'Rock, Paper Scissors' check.  Just to make thinks interesting I would have made it a Rock, Paper, Scissors, Lizard, Spock check, but...maybe that would have over-taxed hashers' memories. 

At 2:30PM hashers gather at one of Victoria great examples of Art Deco.

It missed this run, but our records show that 18 hashers turned up on a cool autumn day.

At 3PM hashers head along the 300 block King George Terrace towards Beach Drive.

At 3:04PM Wet Taco and Premature Evacuation are climbing up to Gonzales Observatory.  Since Hash Flash is with them that means both Hares are there too, so they can't be too lost... or can they?

The runners head though Gonzales Hill Regional Park.  Already to tired to run?

In the meantime I believe the walkers stopped at the Rock, Paper Scissors check.

By 4:11PM the runners are at Walbran Park enjoying autumn Piña ColadasColadas means "strained", so as I missed this run I might be straining my imagination that this is what the hares strained pineapples (Piña Coladas) looked like..

Only half of the 18 hashers at this 'run' actually followed the running route, which might be why this oddly split group photo (requiring some effort to merge) has so few in it.  Speedy Whorezales is hiding behind Richard the Turd, and Gary Glitter seems somehow to have gotten lost en route (so much for sweeping!).

Finally at 4:24PM, Garry Glitter has been found (or just headed back to the start), and hashers gather at the BC in Ice Breaker's garage.  Prosucker is munching on a hash post-run staple Hawkins Cheezies...

...and Some Bitchy C' is enjoying(?) a Paqui Haunter Ghost Pepper Tortilla Chips.  The ghost pepper is a translation of it Hindi name Bhut Jolokia.  Bhut in Hindi means “ghostâ€? while Jolokia translates to "pepper or chili".  It's a interspecific hybrid chili pepper, cultivated in the Northeast Indian states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Nagaland and Manipur.  The ghost pepper is an extreemly hot pepper.  It's 800,000 - 1,041,427 in the Scoville Heat Units (SHU) measurement.  A great choice for an 'Ice Breaker' event.  By comparison a scotch bonnet (a favourite in the Caribbean) is a 100,000 - 350,000, and a Jalapeño is 2,500 - 8000.  The SHU represents the number of times the concentration of capsaicinoids needs to be diluted before it's no longer detectable.  For example, with jalapeño pepper it took 2,000-8,000 dilutions for that to happen, or to be as mild as a sweet bell pepper.

After the hares are down-downed.  I think she gets honoured for bringing her father out on the hash (we'll come to that later).

I think Oh Candida got charged for going to the dogs...and feeding them treats found on trail.  I mean, I wonder if anyone thought of this, but would you feed your kids something you just happen to find on a trail?  But maybe it's not like that, since the write-up say she was honoured for it, but do you see the dog behind her? 

Normally virgins are honoured right after the hares, but this lot seemed to be following their own custom, and Just Al is called into the circle.  At least Mary Poppins is following the 'no hats in the circle' custom.

I hope Ice Breaker isn't really asking the virgin who made him cum come...

Peepee is given centre stage for her photogenic genius, or was it for backsliding?  Her last hash was on May 21 of 2022, run 824.

It's 9 minutes before 5PM and both I Dream of Weenie and Ice Breaker get the last down-downs.  The write-up describes an infelicitous discriminatory drift of the Hash circle into the politics of foreign lands, but it will remain a mystery why Ice Breaker is in there sharing the punishment.  I suspect they just poured more down-down than they had worthy transgression to punish and at the end had to Trump some up.  On On!
