Yeast Infection has another event to go to, but turned up because he had invited a virgin, and wanted to be there to reassure that we're not scary people.

Stoolie Andrew wasn't doing a hula dance for this pineapple express.  To put his 'slant' on things he wanted introductions to be going in the 'other' direction than normal.  Just to shake things up.

Royal Canadian Mounted Pooch lets his people take care of intros.

Trail marking were simple, ... where they hadn't been washed out.  We were told the halts were special; not to blow through them.

As a walker I didn't see many of these, but here was one of the first on-ons.  Very economical.

A 'fresh' X.  After the rain Jonners returned and reset a number of 'X's.  When I am a FRB I get to see many of these, but only a few as a walker.  A refreshing change of pace.

Walker passing the Legislative Library wing, and the ornate backside of the Parliament buildings.  In September 1912 its corner stone was laid, and it was completed by the summer of 1915.  This is the library logo; a print from a linocut block, by an unknown artist, which was found in the attic in 1985.

Victoria's first volunteer fire company, the union Hook and Ladder No.1, was organized in late November 1859.  On the 23 of March 1860, American residents of Victoria organized the Tiger Engine Company No.2.  This is where The Victoria Fire Department Historical Society operates a small museum on Michigan Street.  Here they keep the restored 1899 Waterous 2nd size Steam Pumper Charles E. Redfern.  It was the 5th of 8 used by Tiger Engine Company. Redfern was the mayor at the time, and it was considered wise to name the engines after the mayor who provided the city funding for them.

Fire Hall 2, Victoria's newest fire hall, completed in 1997.  It houses Ladder Two, Engine Two, and one back-up pumper.  BTW on Nov. 4th City Council approved the beginning of negotiation for Fire Hall #1's (vintage 1959) $30M mixed-use replacement project.

South Park School was built in 1894. It is the oldest building in Western Canada that has continuously operated as a school.  I don't believe any runs have started from here.

Happy Sperms was last to be charged but a photo of that didn't come out. Then 'acting' Hash Flash, Stroke Alone, got charged.  I can't remember why, but it was probable deserved if for no other reason that he's not very good at this camera stuff.
